Sofas ETC

Not very friendly service. Me and my husband walked inside and within less then a minute was approached and given a strange look by an older female associate who eventually asked firstly to us what our budget was. After telling the associate what price range I would like to stay under she seemed offended and then asked what area we lived in. We told her parkville and she assumed we lived in loche raven village as if we were lower class. And then proceeded to tell us we should consider shopping at a lower price retail store like bobs discount furniture as if she felt we would waste her time. I’m not sure if this is how they talk to everyone who comes in or if it was the way we were dressed/ were younger or if possibly because we were a gay couple but it certainly did not seem they wanted our business or wanted to give us the time of day.

I absolutely would recommend Sofa’s etc. to anyone. My clients love their beautiful products, fantastic customer service, and warm welcome. Michelle G. is so knowledgeable, a great problem-solver, and her sense of humor is such an added bonus. Grateful for her, and of course Jeremy, and his wonderful store!

The sales woman was helpful in offering feedback and recording the product numbers for the item I requested. She was also helpful in choosing additional catalogs for me to look through and was patient enough to sit with me throughout my contemplative tenure. The owner was also helpful in sharing some insight about their products and floor room. I recommend coming into the store. It has a big floor space so you are surely to find something that you like but what brought me to this particular store was there availability of a specific product and the current location near Baltimore.
