Work has been incredibly stressful for the past three months, and I had accumulated so much tension that my back was constantly in pain. Thus, I decided to book a deep tissue massage with Courtney at Solace Massage Therapy. It was my first ever massage, and it was on that day I discovered that massage therapy is truly an art form, one that requires a profound understanding and appreciation of the human body. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt at ease. Courtney greeted me warmly and proceeded to ask a series of questions to identify my needs and determine which areas required the most attention. What followed was 90 minutes of pure bliss. Courtney was fantastic at communicating with me, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the session without making me feel obligated to make conversation, which I'll be honest, was my initial fear. It was genuinely the most relaxed I had felt in over a year, and I spent the entire time in a near-trance state. The 90 minutes passed all too quickly, and it was time to return to the real world. Before I left, Courtney took the time to educate me on posture, stress relief, and ways to recognize and prevent the triggers that had caused my back issues. I am truly grateful for her expertise and left feeling enlightened and refreshed. I immediately booked my next appointment upon returning home. If you're looking for a high quality massage with someone who understands the true art form of massage therapy, I can't recommend Courtney at Solace Massage Therapy enough.
