We recently collaborated with Lux Construction Utah on a full-home HVAC upgrade project, where the old swamp cooler was replaced with a modern central heating and cooling system. This was a complex job that required significant coordination beyond the HVAC scope. Fedor and his team stepped in as the general contractor and prepared the house for installation: they opened walls, ceilings, and floors in the right areas for ductwork and equipment, carried out the necessary plumbing modifications, upgraded the electrical panel, and added a dedicated line for the air conditioner. After our system was fully installed, Lux Construction Utah handled all the closing, patching, and finishing work at a professional level. Their proactive approach, clear communication, and high-quality workmanship had a huge impact on the overall success of the project. As an HVAC contractor, it was a real relief for us to work with a general contractor who holds plumbing and electrical licenses, performs all types of work himself, understands the bigger picture, and ensures a smooth workflow for all trades. We had amazing experience with LUX construction. We had them build up kitchenette in our basement (from scratch - cabinets, sink/faucet installation, mosaic travertine floor, all the appliances were installed, counter top and backsplash work, extra lights under the cabinets were put in). Price/quality was absolutely amazing. All the work was done very clean, it was hard to believe we have a project in our home, how clean it was. Also LUX build our second laundry room with mosaic travertine floor and installation of all the appliances, cabinet, sink/faucet. Next project was saving us from mold in our indoor pool room, they did special treatment and paint to make sure we are mold-free. What I'm trying to say, they are good in making all your projects go as fast and satisfying as possible. We've done 4 big projects with LUX and would recommend them to everyone.

Our house was made in the 1920's, so it is old and so are some of the people living here. We needed to somehow get the washer/dryer from the basement to the main floor so that we don't one day come home to find old people injured in the basement from trying to carry laundry up-down the stairs. Problem we had, there isn't any real room available on the main floor to move the wash/dryer we currently have upstairs onto the main floor, BUT! we had a simple closet that could be used. So, Fedor and Dennis went over the plans with me with what we could do. Make the closet as the new housing for a tower wash/dryer. Great plan, went into effect quickly. Throughout the changes, I was updated about what they were doing and how they were doing things, and why. Communication was great, whether in person or over text. Everything works, the washer/dryer was put in, Fedor made certain to check in to see if everything was running correctly. Gave me all the receipts and our contract within a nice plastic binding to keep it all together. Everyone was respectable, fast and efficient from start to finish. Our house did make it difficult for them on the first day because we have had SO MANY Electricians over the years put in new Electrical Boxes all over the place and some of the wires in the basement...well, they don't run anywhere anymore. But, the crew managed to find all the electrical boxes hidden around the house, and found where they could get everything set up. In conclusion, we got great service, fast results, communicated daily and any ideas for looks and function. Will definitely work with this company and group again with other changes and fix-ups around this house in the future.
