Bears game!!..it was amazing!! Great place to see a game. The seats are set up in a way that there are no bad views. Super Live atmosphere and great food selections. I suggest the bratwurst...Fun for whole family. It oozes history of past. I'm a fan of Chicago architecture. Soldier Field is living history. Be sure to get there early so you can see the Bears warm up and soak in everything Game Day has to offer before the crowds get there. They make you feel included and overall keep you entertained. 100% recommend!
Maybe the only stadium that was better before they remodeled it. Everything here kinda sucks. It's difficult to navigate or find your way around once you're inside. It is cavernous, the nose bleeds are so high you feel like you could touch the sky. The skyboxes are too far off and insulated from the field and stages. There is no sense of being at a cohesive event with all the people inside. Getting there is a pain as they've made museum campus impossible to drive around or park near. Parking is expensive. If you can afford it, the underground parking is excellent and brings you right up to the entrance. Besides that, not much to talk about here. The City of Chicago and the Bears put a giant ugly band aide on this building instead of just leveling it and building a proper stadium (e.g. Comiskey, old Chicago Stadium, it can be done).
My first time to Soldier Field and my first time seeing the All Blacks live. Was a simple enough ride on the train with plenty of signs to follow for the walk into the stadium. With a sell out crowd of over 61,000 there were the usual bottle necks at the bathrooms and the beer stands but no real problems. We were able to find our seats again with plenty of signs to guide you. It was the best day out for me in a very long time and to top it off the All Blacks won. If you get a chance go there for a game of whatever team you like, yes it will cost you some $$$ bucks but a once in a lifetime experience is well worth it.
