My custom built pier and beam family home was on a large piece of land. It was dated and in an undesirable neighborhood. The house was fully functioning and habitable, however the neighborhood discouraged a lot of potential buyers. Sondra met with me and we discussed the listing the house. She was knowledgeable about the financing options for pier and beam houses, and she was able to describe any foreseeable issues regarding selling the house. She gave me a realistic time-frame for listing, advised when I could expect a photographer for listing photos, and described how the house would be listed. Sondra was aware that I had previously listed the house, and that the previous realtor came up short. She was not discouraged by the previous listing, the house location, or the fact that the house was dated. Because of Sondra's working knowledge of the market and market outlook, I listed my house with Sondra. The photographer took excellent pictures of the house. As soon as the photos were available to Sondra, she listed the house. Any time that I contacted Sondra with questions, she answered with a text or phone call. She made sure that I was informed at every step of the listing process, and that I stayed informed while the house was listed. When Sondra received an offer on the house, she contacted me and we discussed the offer. She met me at the house on different occasions when I had questions and when service people came out. Sondra goes above and beyond by going to the home when the client needs assistance. This is a huge plus for me because things came up that I needed assistance with. Sondra was very understanding when I explained that my father built the house, and I had limits to the amount of work/updating that I would do in order to sell the house. She did not push for improvements, and respected that I wanted to preserve my father's craftsmanship in the home. She respected that if certain changes were to be made to the house that the buyer would have to make those changes after buying the home. She didn't pressure me into making unnecessary changes to the home. During the time that my house was listed and prior to the sell, Sondra streamed live videos of houses for sale and posted houses for sale on social media. Sondra is relevant with social media, which means that she maintains contact with prospective buyers by staying abreast of modern marketing. I trusted that Sondra would market my house in a way that would attract the right buyer because she stays relevant in the market. I'm satisfied that my house sold. Sondra understood and respected my position during the sale. She did a great job of responding to phone calls and texts, and making sure that I understood every step of the process.
