I’m genuinely surprised they have a 5-star rating on Google. I hired them for my wedding in 2022, and unfortunately, my experience with Sorella was far from satisfactory. Despite paying extra for an additional staff member to ensure better organization, the event was disorganized, and many details were overlooked. We had several meetings and site visits where they took notes, yet on the wedding day, they forgot key elements — including my flowers — and even misplaced my basket. As planners, they were responsible for managing these details, but they failed to deliver. Additionally, it seems they deliberately chose not to post any photos of my wedding, which felt unprofessional and disappointing. Initially, I refrained from leaving a review, but after noticing similar concerns and reflecting on my experience, I felt it was important to share. While they were diligent in requesting payments, the quality of service did not meet expectations. I cannot recommend their services based on my experience. ⸻ I have no choice but to respond to you here in the same review. It’s quite evident and I knew that you are now unwilling to accept any negativity but I had to say what I felt and couldn’t stay quiet more than this! both you and I know how things were handled. In the multiple conversations we had, you clearly agreed to transfer the flowers. Taking advantage of someone being busy and can’t watch over it’s not ideal at all! However, you deliberately chose not to share any design photos of my wedding, and it was clear that little effort was made on your part. Also all 3 staff were not there until end of the wedding one of the staff left at 9pm but I paid for 3 ppl to be there until end of the wedding! I believe it’s important to acknowledge mistakes and take accountability rather than expecting only positive reviews.

We worked with Sorella Events this year to plan our wedding and this was hands down the best investment we made! Nazanin and Samira were so detailed, thoughtful and creative throughout the entire process. Due to covid this year we needed to move our wedding from April to July and their team made the whole process so easy. We are so thankful to have picked Sorella for our special day, it turned out to be better than we could have ever imagined. Thank you ladies for your unconditional support in planning my wedding ceremony. Once I decided to host a covid-friendly wedding in my husband’s backyard, I only had one week to make it happen. I immediately reached out to Sammy to help me plan the details and it was the best decision I ever made. Sammy was there for me every step of the way, and she is incredibly good at what she does - she is resourceful, organized, and proactive. I also appreciate that Sammy was consistently transparent with me and allowed me to engage with the process; as such, I felt like we were working as a team to make my dream wedding come to life. Hiring Sorella Events for our wedding and reception was one of the best decisions we made. Naz & Samira were our wedding planning Angels! From our first meeting to our intimate Covid wedding they were everything a couple could dream of in a planner. They truly have a passion for planning gorgeous weddings and are exceptionally talented. They were sweet, easy to talk to, organized, flexible, creative and most importantly fun to work with. We initially hired Naz & Samira to plan our wedding at the JW Marriott Parq Hotel; however, due to the pandemic, we pushed our wedding from June to October and changed our wedding plans dramatically. They were understanding and helped make the changes seamless for us. They immediately took the lead to action the changes, contact our vendors and even help us get some of our deposits back. During the whole process, Naz & Samira made us feel heard, provided great suggestions based on our changing vision, and were always only a phone call or text message away if we needed to chat last minute. Their ability to be agile and work with us through our uncertainties and concerns was very much appreciated. These two lovely ladies went above and beyond to make our day special. It was truly a pleasure to have them on our team.
