I had the best lunch experience of my life here in early September, 2025 while on my 70th birthday east coast vacation tour. We were lucky to have had the perfect day to sit and eat at their outdoor, ocean overlooking patio. My party enjoyed various seafood dishes and I opted for a whole lobster which was exceptional served with rice and potato salad. Our server recommended that I try a local beer made by Moth Lane Brewery called "Shits and Giggles". I had to give it a try just because of its interesting name, and it was a great choice. So if you're touring the north shore of PEI just west of Cavendish, make sure to drop in for a great meal.

Perfect way to end our PEI vacation. Sou West does not disappoint. Oysters and lobster were great. Wife and daughter had chicken parm and loved it. Service was amazing. Patio view of the water was magical. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great island dining experience

Food was good. Our server was great. Unfortunately, they sat us indoors on a hot day just because there were 2 of us, while they had several unreserved tables of 4 outdoors (which stayed empty while we were eating). This was a little disappointing.

Stopped by for a quick break and a bite to eat. Best clam chowder in my life. Perfectly seasoned and everything was fresh. Thank you for a wonderful PEI meal. Food and service was amazing
