During my time at Mitchinson Flight Centre I finished my Commercial, Multi-engine, and Instrument Rating (group 1) and have to say I was very impressed with the professionalism and training I received. My instructors (Nick, Ian, and Logan) showed a true passion towards my learning and experience at the school. They made themselves available at all times of the day for any questions and made sure to give me insightful answers. This made an enormous impact on my training and helped grow my operational knowledge. the simulator sessions for my Instrument Rating were well planned (due to the great syllabus), and emphasized with a real world application. During my training on the 310, I always felt prepared for the flight due to the thorough ground briefs prior to the flight. For both my Multi-engine and Instrument Flight test I had Braeden as my examiner and he was amazing. He was very insightful and down to earth. I always felt comfortable to ask questions and take my time when needed. Which is something I believe is very important during flight test. Overall my experience at this school was great and helped me develop greatly as a pilot. If you are looking to become a well educated pilot this is the school to go to.

We made an impromptu stop to ask if we could show our daughter an airplane up close as she has been asking constant to see one and within a half hour they had us in the air on a scenic tour of the city. The very friendly and professional staff made us feel comfortable and made our daughter’s first airplane ride an experience she will never forget. Thank you also to our pilot Braeden for sharing his knowledge and answering our many questions. An overall great experience and made our day. We will be back! We can’t thank you enough or give you enough stars as a rating!
