I cannot say enough nice things about Harvester Vet or the individuals who work inside. They answer the phone, return messages, keep everything clean, communicate options, plan for the future and have an abundance of compassion. My dog is fearful and reactive, but even she seems happy to come here and is always healed. Dr. Brice Ratchford, DVM has been my favorite vet I have seen so far, they're all amazing though. He has great character and is knowledgeable and real. THEY EVEN HAD A SANTA READY FOR A PHOTO OPPORTUNITY AND SENT ME THE PHOTO. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WHO LOVES AND CARES FOR THEIR PETS, AND TO ANYONE WHO WANTS THE BEST TREATMENT FOR THEM!!!!!!

On 01/30/26, we brought a 5&1/2 month old Puppy to Harvester Vet. The Puppy was in need of immediate emergency care.   The Doctors ran X-rays and determined our puppy had a blockage in his intestines.  Surgery was performed within hours and the blockage successfully removed. From our interaction with the staff at the front desk when we called, to our arrival, to the exam, and ultimately the surgery - we felt our Puppy was in Great Hands! Dr. Ratchford, assisted by Dr.Joe, brought our Baby back to us.  ❤️. Thank You All for your care, compassion, patience, & assistance during an extremely difficult experience. We Highly recommend Harvester Vet!

Over the summer I had many visits to Harvester Veterinary Hospital while navigating through an issue with my senior dog related to his paw. He eventually had surgery the beginning of July and did very well in his recovery. Unfortunately, he did have another unrelated issue that resulted in him having to be put to sleep mid Sept. He was 15yrs 4 mos old. I very much appreciated Dr Joe’s help during those 4 months in helping me make decisions as it related to Chewy’s care. She was excellent about listening to my concerns , giving me her opinions and calling me when I needed additional guidance. I never had a problem getting an appointment and her staff at the front desk were always very welcoming. The techs were also very good with Chewy. You could tell they loved working with animals. I would recommend this office in a heartbeat. 💗

Exceptional customer service. Caroline at the front desk was amazing. The medical assistant Cindy was very friendly to my 2 month old maltese. The Vet Doctor Rathsford was very knowledgeable and thorough. The place is very clean. I will highly recommend.
