Don't do it. Loi Nguyen seemed shady. Said 3 cavities, completely unrelated of where I thought the cavities were going to be in the first place. Halfway through, then shows me a very clear cavity exactly where I was betting there to be a cavity, saying he "missed it", yet it was bright as day when he showed me in the mirror, not something you miss unless you're fishing to seem innocent towards the patient. Initial checkup was also shady, the person doing the scans redid a X-ray, this was fine until the bill included a second x-ray as a result, not something you do unless you're trying to pad the bill. Don’t bother trying to get an appointment here if you’re a poor person on Medicare. I called to get an appointment due to severe tooth pain. The front desk person was entirely dismissive of everything I had to say because she thought they wouldn’t take my insurance. I explained that I already talked to insurance and got told that it would be accepted, and gave a reference number to the phone call (as per instructions from the insurance person). I was told in essence that they were worried I was going to try to scam them, so they booked me down for several days later (emergency dental?) and made it clear that I should look elsewhere. I do understand that insurance makes things very complicated for everyone, but that’s why I tried to do the work ahead of time to make it easy. The second I said “ODS” was my insurance, they stopped listening to anything I had to say.

Amazing dentist. Went to Willamette dental a few days prior that wouldn't help with the pain. Said the tooth couldn't be saved and had to refer me to a specialist. Went back to Willamette dental after 2 days and no date yet to take care of the tooth causing so much pain. They told me to rub whiskey on it! So I decided to seek out help. Emergency& general dental got me right in even on extreme short notice on a Saturday! They were able to perform the first part of a root canal to take care of the decay that had reached a nerve and solved at least the pain issue today and scheduled when I can come back to complete the root canal. 7 hours later I'm finally pain free. Thank you. It was a blessing to be treated with respect and an actual plan of action. Best experience I've had in my adult life at a dentist. Which is stark contrast to Willamette dental which is the worst experience I had.

Dr. Loi Nguyen is an AMAZING dentist! My husband has been a patient of Dr. Nguyen for over 15 years and highly recommend him, so we made the 3 hr. drive for my appointment. Talk about a MIRACLE worker! Dr. Nguyen has given me back my smile and confidence by his work. Vanessa Nguyen is also just as AMAZING, Vanessa is always on top on all scheduling and insurance billing. The entire staff is professional and super sweet. I would rate this place 100 stars if it let me. Mrs. Berg
