Customer experiences
The order was correct. The items appeared to have been handled with care during delivery. The delivery was within a minute or two of the delivery time listed when I ordered. I ordered at 5:20 and it was delivered at about 6:20. The price is a bit high for delivery. My total for food and taxes was ~$20. Including a $5 tip I spent an additional $12 for the delivery. I would say that delivery from this place is the equivalent of tipping two drivers. The fees are a bit too high for this to be a feasible delivery service that I use on a regular basis. I could just not tip the driver and the cost of delivery would be reasonable, but I've been a delivery driver before and I know the drivers see little or no percentage of the delivery fees. I also did not care for the phone call. I order delivery from Dominos a lot. I order from them because it is so easy to order online. I was upset that I received a phone call after I placed an online order. They verified all of the information that I entered online and said the credit card payment was accepted. They told me the driver would need to see my CC. The driver did not request to see anything or have me sign anything. The driver handed me the items, said thank you, and left. Delivery is all about convenience. The more of a nuisance it becomes the less likely I am to do it. Due to the price and phone call I am unlikely to use this service again. I like that the items were delivered correctly and at the estimated time, but I dislike the price and phone call. I also liked that the driver just handed me my items and left.
I don't know why I keep giving this place chances. More often than not my order is messed up or missing something. I am honestly shocked when I receive something correctly. They give an estimated time of 55 minutes, but on average it is a two hour wait. Once I waited over three hours and when I tried to call to cancel (three times) no one answered. When they showed up the guy wouldn't even give me a refund. I NEVER received a refund or discount on anything despite the constant troubles in ordering. The few times I've called to complain they have been rude and never offered even an apology. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Not worth the headaches and hassle.
Jason and Mike are the best guys there. Phil is also an exceptional operator. Very friendly and always curtious. These guys do their best all the time! Jason is A+ in customer service and Gary the owner is a man of great character. If anything goes wrong I can always count on them to find a solution. Wonderful company!
I consistently receive fantastic customer service. Flexible, responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help put together an order to fit my time and budget. Highly recommended!
