SallyWell ,ordered food at 7.09 pm waited an hour for food after on line system didn’t work , no apology but did offer a free beer which is a bit of an insult when I don’t drink ! . Other people waiting over an hour as well , they were visitors to cheddar so not impressed . When I got food home Nan bread burnt and onion Bahji not edible . The worse food I’ve had in a while , as a local (50 year) won’t be using this place again had a 1star because to give 0 not an option ! Update at 9 .48 pm . just received the order AGAIN delivered to the door this time , receipt saying ordered received at 7.52 pm so again almost 2 hours ! Lol dear oh dear spice cottage made a total mess up of this order! Won’t be eating any of this one .
Joe CAvoid this place at all cost. Had a chicken madras and tasted nice enough but the following morning I knew about it, could not keep anything down not even water waited till the following day to phone the doctors and they said it was common affects of food poisoning. That is 3 locals in cheddar now that have got food poisoning from spice cottage. Think I will be sticking to rasio going forward, have not heard of anyone getting food poisoning from there.
Steve LJust had my second take away from spice cottage, I had a garlic and chilli masala which was full of flavour and one of the tastiest curries I have had in a long time….naan bread was cooked perfectly, Best Indian takeaway in cheddar!
