This place was such a surprise and the best decision to end our Colorado trip with Indian food. The food was excellent. Service was quick and it was full. The ambiance felt like 90’s indian restaurant We ordered lasooni Gobi (amazing),kurkuri bhindi, Samosa chat for appitizers and it was delicious. For the main course, we ordered achari aloo, katahal (jackfruit) fry, and baigan bharta all three were delicious. The naan was super soft. The pulav for kids was great too. We ended our meal with gulab jamun -there are 3 in one order and our server gave us 4 since there were four of them on the table. He saved us from fighting over gulab jamun. We even ordered a shikanji drink and that was refreshing. Would eat her every day if this place moves opens a restaurant in Hudson valley.
Spice Room absolutely lived up to its name — every bite was bursting with bold, unforgettable flavor! We started with the samosas, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a spicy, flavorful mix that woke up our taste buds right away. They also brought out complimentary crackers with a variety of sauces — each one unique and delicious (I couldn’t stop dipping!). For the main course, we had the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, and wow — both were incredible. The sauces were rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, and the chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. The jalapeño & cheese naan and garlic naan were the perfect sides — soft, warm, and just the right amount of indulgent. To top it all off, I had a mango lassi that was thick, creamy, and just heavenly — easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Yes, the wait was a bit long, both to be seated and for the food to arrive, but once everything hit the table, it was well worth it. The quality, flavor, and attention to detail made it an outstanding dining experience.
I finally made it into Spice Room after so many recommendations and it did not disappoint. The butter chicken and cheese naan I got were delicious! The mango lassi was the best I’ve had. I strongly recommend Spice Room!
