Spruce Weddings and Events

We used Spruce Planning & Events at Excelsior for our wedding on May 2nd 2025. As a wedding coordinator/planner myself, I was excited to hire someone to take care of our day and when I spoke to Taylor I knew she was the woman for the job. She is a great listener, very organized and you can just tell she loves her job. She also is very close with the Excelsior staff, who she was recommended to us by. Taylor and I walked through my timeline and she added some extra eyes to the process, pulling everything together beautifully. One of the first things I told Taylor about me is I like to be on-time. I hate being late. However, while I am very Type A, my husband is very– not. They were patient with him and were happy to support him (and me) as he made his slow and deliberate decisions. On the day of, there was not a second of worry for me because I knew that Taylor and Sarah (her assistant) had my back the entire day. She was attentive to the details we chatted about, ran our day of rehearsal, changed things as needed, and kept the day going (and on-time). Taylor and Sarah were the sweetest people but also extremely professional, timely, and attentive. I would recommend Spruce to everyone I know because even if there had been a crisis of some sort– I know Taylor and Sarah would’ve handled it with ease. Beyond that, they listened, kept me calm, and made our day everything and more. Plus, even my husband commented on the fact that he liked having them around for help– which is high praise from someone who would’ve been fine to be behind by hours. Thank you, Spruce!!!

Hiring Taylor from Spruce was the best thing we did for our wedding! She was on top of literally everything before I could even ask! She made sure everything was packed away perfectly and even locked it in our car at the end of the night. Taylor was such an amazing planner start to finish. She truly made the day so much less stressful. We love spruce!

We are so unbelievably thankful for Spruce Weddings and Events, especially Taylor! She was absolutely amazing from start to finish and handled all of my endless (and sometimes crazy!) questions with such care, patience, and always with a smile. Truly, we could not have done it without her guidance. Taylor seamlessly connected with everyone (our families, guests, and even other vendors) and made the entire day feel smooth and stress-free. So many people came up to me after the wedding to say how incredible she was and how on top of everything she stayed throughout the day. Her professionalism, kindness, and calming presence made all the difference in our wedding experience. Taylor is a true gem, and we are beyond grateful for everything she did to make our day absolutely perfect!
