Customer experiences
I recently had the opportunity to visit one of the leading private hospitals in Bangladesh, and I was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The hospital’s facilities are top-notch, with modern infrastructure, clean and spacious rooms, and state-of-the-art medical equipment. From the moment I walked in, the level of professionalism and care from the staff was evident. The doctors are highly skilled and knowledgeable, taking the time to listen to concerns and explain treatment plans in detail. The nursing staff were compassionate and attentive, ensuring comfort and providing excellent patient care throughout my visit. The hospital's management also deserves recognition for its smooth operations and prompt service. One of the standout features of this hospital is its focus on patient comfort, with a well-organized admission process and a welcoming atmosphere. While the hospital is on the pricier side, the quality of care justifies the cost, making it a reliable choice for those seeking high-quality medical attention. Overall, this hospital sets a high standard for healthcare in Bangladesh, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of quality medical care.
I have visited this hospital (extension building) many times due to my maternal uncle's treatment. It is one of the most professional private hospitals in Dhaka. The environment of the hospital is clean with high security . Doctors and staff are very helpful and co-operative.
My father recently underwent CABG (MICS) surgery at Square Hospital, performed by Dr. Prasanta K Chanda. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive from admission to discharge. Dr. Prasanta is not only an excellent surgeon but also a compassionate individual. The entire staff, including doctors, nurses, ward assistants, and all support personnel demonstrated exceptional professionalism and care throughout our stay. I particularly appreciated their transparency with billing, as they didn't charge any unexpected fees beyond the package price. For anyone seeking high-quality cardiac care and surgery, I would confidently recommend Square Hospital. Area of improvement: The blood bank service at Square Hospital is notably slow. The process typically takes 3-4 hours from sample collection to blood donation completion. This extended waiting time can discourage potential donors, especially those who aren't family members. The hospital should prioritize expanding capacity and streamlining this service to improve the donor experience. Despite this single shortcoming, the overall care and service at Square Hospital is truly outstanding.
I used to be a big supporter of Square Hospital since I had receive some good service from them (for my family members specially my wife and child). Our first baby was born here under Gynecologist Rehnuma Jahan. Although she was very busy doctor but she had been nice all though my wife's pregnancy journey. Post operative service was also good. With a high expectation which was drawn from our first baby experience, we went to the same doctor (Rehnuma Jahan). But this time surprisingly the experience started to get bitter and worse. Firstly they moved the Gyn and Obs section to a completely different building which is congested, does not have any lift and most importantly it is not equipped like the main hospital. Secondly, Rehnuma Jahan has now started serving three times the number of patients she used to consult per day. As a result, we had to wait for at least 3-4 hours just to get into her chamber ! The worst part is after waiting for 3-4 hours she takes hardly a minute (or even less) to examine the patient, hear from them and also check the test reports !! My question is does a patient wait for 3 hours just to take 1 minute of consultation? I leave this question to Square Hospital how would they justify their business policy. Is it acceptable in any aspect or do they want patients to find alternatives. (the three star* rating is based on my earlier experiences)
Square Hospital is a hospital.
