This is such a Montana Gem! I’m so sad the other locations across the state have closed! Whenever I’m in town here I always get a sandwich from here! Never been disappointed with a Staggering Ox meal and that sure didn’t change today! Absolutely love this place! So unique and the fresh baked bread always makes any sandwich special!

Food is delicious, I love the unique and wide variety of sandwiches, the bread guts, Cheezy Guts, and the pizza. Prices are high. Atmosphere is a five ⭐️. They play good music. The bathrooms are very clean, overall good rate of cleanliness. The staff give excellent service.

My sandwich was delightful, and the French onion soup was so amazing that my host decided to order one for himself! Everything was top quality. The food was superb, the staff were all friendly, upbeat, and made good suggestions. Service was very fast, even though they were surprisingly busy for a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was super clean. The prices were also very good! Whenever I visit Billings, I try a new restaurant, and the Staggering Ox really stands out! If you're looking for a unique place to take your friends or family ( or yourself) out for a meal, they have great variety, excellent service, affordable prices, and most of all, delicious food! I 100% recommend this establishment!
