Dr. Benes is fairly new to the Stamford practice. I've had the same dr. for 22 years but wanted to switch to a woman. She was fantastic. I felt like she listened to me and asked the right questions. My test results required a second appointment and she made sure to get me in quickly and got me the results in a couple of days (calling me personally). I am happy I switched!
The service that I received from Dr. Benes-Dettmer was excellent. Dr. Benes-Dettmer and the staff were friendly and ensure that I’m properly informed about my health and care. She was lovely to speak with. She is a doctor that combines such personal touch and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I’m so glad I chose Dr. Benes- Dettmer and I highly recommend becoming her patient.
She was great at first, but after my last few visits I have changed my mind. She does not have a great bedside manner, she is actually rather rude and appears to be a know it all. She does not care about her patients only about judging them and shoving more medication down in their faces. I would not recommend this doctor.
