Days later, the practice drafted a letter terminating me as a patient at 18 weeks pregnant, even though Dr. Benes Dettmer had facilitated that I make a follow-up appointment. This goes beyond bedside manner to constitute retaliation without warning. I will forever look back on this appointment with feelings of shame, sadness, and overall humiliation.
