State Roofing Company

We just got our roof recently changed with State Roofing Company. I found their leaflet, they left a while back at our door saying: "We do not knock on your door!". Well originally coming from Europe, we are not used to soliciting and having companies sitting here trying to sell their products for hours! So that sentence on that piece of paper was already a winner for us! I checked out their credentials, BBB, Angie's List, etc and then I gave them a call. John (the owner) called me back to discuss our needs and a few days later we had a package at our door containing a quote, information about the company and information about the high quality products / materials they use. John asked when I would like to get the roof done and I asked if it was possible to get it done in a week time (spring break, so I had to be at home anyway as the kids were at home) and so we set the day to Thursday. I used information by John's guidance to fill our HOA Modification Application Form for a roof change, which was approved just the day before the project started. The team sent out was a very good team, all very courteous, professional, hard working and considerate. They covered up the windows with huge wooden panels and put tarp down all around the house for the debris to land on. They covered our pool very well too! They worked very hard and finished even with the clean up by 5pm. The work was checked and they collected the payment only then. John also told me that there is a form (which I received once our payment was cleared) that I can use to lower our insurance premium, due to the high quality materials they use (very resistant to hail damage, which we have a few times a year). I also have to mention the ladies at their home office. Whenever I called they always were super helpful, kind and sorted things very quickly. They are an amazing asset to the company! I am extremely grateful that I come across State Roofing company! The process was so easy and stress free, done in a very timely manner and very professionally! I already gave some of their cards to neighbors already! Here are some photos! First one is a before change. There is the sample board of the shingles we used on our roof, called weathered wood. We have used State roofing twice. Once to repair roof damage from a fall tree limb at our home and the second time to replace the entire decking/roof at my parent's home. Each time the communication was direct and clear, questions were answered, and the work was done efficiently and orderly. I do not hesitate in recommending them for your roofing needs.

State Roofing is a very honest and professional company that delivers what they promise. I got 5 other bids before I chose John Giffin's company and I have been very happy with my decision. Whereas one company took nearly 2 weeks to get the bid back, John got us the bid within hours and clearly outlined all of the products that will be used as part of the GAF system that will get us a 50 year limited warranty (only if installed by a GAF Master Elite contractor, which State Roofing is). Instead of using all sub-contractors, he has 2 of his own men (Mario and Bernie) embedded within the crew to make sure that the quality is consistent and done in a timely fashion. Our roof replacement took exactly 2 days and was completed on 3/10/23. Our roof is gorgeous, and I would highly recommend State Roofing to anyone without any reservations.
