I have had terrible experiences with doctors since moving to ipswich 5 years ago. I saw Dr Abe today for my daughter. He was very lovely and engaging with her. He also explained everything very well, which is something that I have been missing with other doctors. I don't like feeling rushed and unheard, as I have an anxiety disorder. I was so glad I followed my instinct and went to this clinic. I arrived late for my appointment, but the receptionist didn't even mention it. She welcomed me warmly, which was a stark contrast to my usual experience. When I saw the doctor, Dr. Okoli, he was very attentive, welcoming, and friendly. He explained everything I needed to know in a clear and concise way, and he gave me some helpful advice. Overall, my experience was top-notch and the best I've had in the last four years. Had a very unsatisfying experience with a doctor at this surgery on Monday. Anxiety was very heightened full of stress and all I was given was some Valium and told to go home and sleep. On top of that, had an ECG done and a nurse had explained that there could be a blockage to my heart which sent the anxiety through the roof. I wore a 24hr heart monitor and it came back with intermittent sinus bradycardia however all other bloods and ops where really good. Still went away with not having an understanding of what is really going on. Very disappointing. You go to the doctor to feel safe yet I didn’t receive anything other than take Valium and sleep!
