Stella Events & Adventures

Stella was the perfect venue for our wedding. The beautiful live oak trees were what captured our hearts. The grounds are meticulously maintained, yet still "natural", the buildings are beautiful inside and very comfortable. My family stayed in the Main House and I spent the night in the guest house the night before our wedding. It made all the difference cutting down on the stress of the day having everyone come to us instead of moving around a lot on the day of. Shelby was our venue manager, she was always quick to answer my questions and a pleasure to work with. She made all the rules and expectations from the venue clear upfront and helped us work within them. The Harold Pavilion was truly a blank canvas for me to work with -- I was comfortable planning the decor myself and liked being able to customize everything -- though I do recognize now that venues that come with a little more decor already setup would have been a less work on my end (lol). All in all, the experience was everything we wanted it to be -- our guests loved it and I would absolutely recommend it for couples looking for that "Southern Louisiana" experience.

This venue had a horrible backup plan due to the rain. Reception was beautiful but my niece was robbed for her actual wedding. Big ac vents on wall in the pavilion where they set her chairs up. No decorations at all. They should have had her wedding in the barn where the reception was. The property is beautiful but for a venue to not have an alternate decorated spot knowing there was rain all day, is unexeptable! I feel they owe her some money back!

Shelby was great! I recommend having your wedding here. They were attentive and supportive!
