First visit to Dr Denney at Huntsville Dental was very revealing. they have the nicest and most competent hygienists and Dentist that I have ever stumbled over in my 80 years on "the third rock from the sun". Why does that sound familiar? I have been a dental hysteric since a very early age. My first experience with the dental arts was as a five year old. Dr. Dennis the dentist was a sadist, I suspect. He did not administer local anesthetics before he drilled on my teeth, causing expected screams of pain and fear. As a result, he would hold his hand over my mouth to stiffle any sounds of protest. I took four years of criminal abuse at his hands before my parents became convinced that felonious assault was occurring at each visit. Since that time, I approach the dental arts with fear and valium. I have been forced to become a connossieur of dental care for self protection. Dr Denney and staff are a pleasure to deal with; painless and superb practitioners of battling mean ol' mister tooth decay. I sincerely and highly reccommend Huntsville Dental at 4240 Balmoral in H'ville.

They were able to fit me into their schedule within a couple days when I had a painful tooth when my regular dentist was out of town. Dr. James and Sammi were very compassionate and thorough in their exam and care. The whole staff was very polite, friendly and professional. I was able to see my own x-rays and photos of my teeth in real time during the appointment too.

This is the best dentist (and team!) I have ever, ever, EVER had. Dr James is so skilled and thorough, as well as incredibly empathetic and gentle. The assistants are AMAZING, efficient and kind.
