We could not be happier with Lance and his team replacing our two tier large deck with Timber Tech product. A creative design and quality work resulted in a beautiful deck, everything we hoped for and more. Initially, we had some ideas about what we wanted. Lance took our ideas and came up with a plan that worked and had a few special custom features added to the design. For example, he made the steps on the deck deeper and widened the steps going up to the deck, allowing for a more functional design for entertaining. We also worked with him on choosing a two tone color scheme using Timber Tech online design tool to show various design features during the planning phase. The lights he installed in the steps and on the deck posts look amazing. He even built a custom herb garden box near the kitchen door using deck materials. We did have two brief delays during construction due to materials not being delivered timely from distributor and pandemic. Lance let us know when materials would be delivered, and he and his crew were back out the day materials arrived. We did have some surprises such as finding deck rot under the stairs going up to the deck and Lance was able tear down the stairs (he could not believe they had not collapsed), replace the risers, and complete the stairs. Deck Innovators seems ready for any challenge and does all the work themselves. Lance is working on site with his crew every day and communicates well with us to keep the project moving to completion.

We chose Deck Innovators for its design, but the final build exceeded our expectations. Lance knows his craft and Joe did a great job bringing those details to the remodeling effort. They renovated our original wooden deck by safely improving the structure, added transitional winders onto a mortised catwalk platform, and built stairs to our patio landing while keeping close to the deck’s original footprint. Deck Innovators worked through the pandemic supply challenges and finished the project. Our family has a nice deck outdoor space to enjoy for years to come. Thank you Deck Innovators.
