Ask for Marianne Kola - she is INCREDIBLE!!! My wife and I went to the store today to look at recliners (one for her, one for me) and we we so fortunate to be greeted by Marianne when we were walking through the store. Couple of things about Marianne and our experience with her today: -Not one time did it feel like she was pressuring us or following us around or awkwardly interrupting us. She gave us time and space which is SO appreciated given usual furniture store experiences. -I am very tall and my wife very short. Marianne showed a deep knowledge of her industry and educated us on so many things we hadn't thought of when selecting recliners for each of us. -She was SUPER patient, answering all of our questions (and there were a lot!) and suggesting different options specific to each of our requirements until we landed on two recliners we love. -It never felt like an oversell when working with Marianne. She Didn't try to upsell us to more expensive recliners or push different things on us. She listened to us and worked with what we were were looking for Vs pushing her own agenda. -Marianne was very good at setting expectations from the very start (eg: delivery wait times) so there was zero surprises when it came to closing the deal. -We like to goof around a bit and Marianne has a wonderful sense of humour which made her super relatable and so, so, so easy to work with. We spent about 2 hours in the store today, and that time flew by thanks to the super positive experience we had with Marianne. Can not speak highly enough of her. So if you are looking for anything furniture related, 100% head to La-Z-Boy on Hunt Club and when you arrive 1,000,000% ask for Marianne.

I felt completely unwelcomed in the store. I came to this location with my boyfriend looking at furniture for our first apartment, excited to share this new chapter of our lives, when we were immediately approached by one of the older employees. Although we were intending on making a purchase, she implied that perhaps we weren’t capable of affording the products. “Customers who aren’t serious about making a purchase are wasting our time and money” We are both young adults and if we appeared older we would not of received that comment.

We had a wonderful experience with Nancy at La-Z-Boy. Even though we didn’t make a purchase this time, we will definitely be back. Nancy was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and took so much time to walk us through our options. She answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable without any pressure. Truly excellent customer service.
