Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience I have stayed at Canada’s Best Value Inn Toronto many times and was always a regular customer, but my last experience was extremely disappointing. I was delayed about 15 minutes past checkout, and instead of handling it professionally, the staff member (Maria) was rude and unhelpful. I was also charged $100 for alleged smoking in the room, which is completely untrue. I did not smoke in the room at all — I only threw an ashtray from my car into the garbage. There was no odor, no damage, and no proof to justify this charge. What made the situation worse was that when I tried to calmly explain myself, the staff member ended the call while I was still speaking, which I found very disrespectful and unprofessional. As someone who stays at this hotel regularly, I expected better customer service and fair treatment. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider staying here again.

Room was clean and well maintained. Bed is comfortable and bedding warm, as weather was cooler. options of air conditioning or heat in the room. Microwave and fridge in room. loved the floors as they were not carpet. Check in was fast and service excellent. We live to stay here when we stay overnight around Toronto!

We checked into the hotel around 11 p.m. without any problems. We paid a deposit of around $200, which was refunded quickly. The parking area was free and secure. The room they gave us was very small. Overall, it was an average hotel. It’s not too far from downtown Toronto.
