Darren Le SurfCame here to see Tom meighan. What a cracking venue. So small that anywhere was a great view. All the staff were friendly and helpful from the security on the door to the bar staff. Tom was on fire and the reading crowd were amazing. Such friendly people. Been waiting months for this. Going hone to Kent very very happy.
Charlie TuffCentral Reading music & comedy venue. Decent size for small gigs upstairs (is guess around 250-300 capacity upstairs. Good space with good eyelines from most points, but there are a couple of pillars near the front on either side. Worth staking out a spot just in front of one of those if you can. Beer selection was pretty good, but priced at London prices (as a lot of Reading is). Worth getting on the mailing list to see what's coming up.
