I already rated Sunrise 1 star. I'm on the 400 series highways alot and I'm always catching these guys doing something unprofessional. Whether cutting off other drivers or just generally causing hazards, there's always an unprofessional Sunrise driver. This guy on the 427 had the whole lane to himself because of all the ice falling off the top.

I had a disappointing experience with Sunrise Freight Systems that felt like a waste of my time and effort. Here’s what happened: I initially contacted their safety department regarding a US driver position about a month ago. As expected, I was told they were not hiring. However, I pointed out that a friend of mine, through a staff reference, was told to come in and apply just an hour earlier. After some insistence, they finally asked me to come in and do the application. I completed all the required paperwork, but then Jaspal from the safety department asked for my previous experience letter. Since my current company was unwilling to provide one, I approached my insurance provider and obtained documentation that clearly outlined my clean driving record and past experience. I submitted this to the safety department, and they called me in for a road test. I passed the road test, but they then asked me to redo the application because three weeks had passed since my first one. I found it odd that I had to re submit the application in such a short time, but I complied and completed the process again. When I followed up for my start date, the safety department insisted they still needed an experience letter. I explained that I had already submitted the insurance documents that clearly proved my experience and clean record. I questioned why they allowed me to proceed with the application and road test if the experience letter was a firm requirement from the start. Despite all this, I’ve yet to receive any response or updates, leaving me feeling like the entire process was a waste of my time and energy. Important Note: It seems that unless you have a direct connection with a staff member within the company, you’ll likely hear, “We are not hiring.” This selective process makes it incredibly frustrating for experienced drivers like me, especially when the requirements seem inconsistent and the communication is poor.
