Sunset is a wonderful veterinarian location. When my doggy Humphrey was passing away they help us carry him inside and continue the process of helping him pass in a calming and loving way. I can’t express how much I appreciate how they helped me when I was crying uncontrollably and made us feel comforted during the whole thing. Thank you again Sunset for your kindness!

Every time I've gone here with any of my cats, they've been wonderful. The folks at the front desk are well organized, every time, and I get back into an exam room quickly, which is super great because even though I've never encountered curious dogs whole waiting at this vet (definitely have at others, which is fine, but one of my cats was scared bad by a big puppy when he was a bitty kitten so he's extra anxious around dogs), its a lot easier to calm my cat down in an exam room when I can let them out of their carrier. The vet I have seen has remembered me and my cats even though I only come in about once or twice a year, between all 3 cats. Its comforting to know that they at least care ro review things ahead, so I dont have to remind them about previous visits - they remind me what happened! Their pharmacy is very reasonably priced, and I appreciate having the option to have things like vaccine records emailed to me. Much easier than trying to find a physical paper later if I need it.

My husband took our dog in for pre-dental bloodwork today, and after walking out $200 lighter just for that, I asked how much the actual dental would cost tomorrow. To my surprise, they quoted $900 — and that doesn’t even include any extractions. We called a couple of other highly recommended vets, and both said bloodwork isn’t typically necessary for a healthy 2-year-old dog. Their quotes ranged from $300 to $450 total. Prices here have skyrocketed, and after 20 years of loyalty, I’m sadly taking my business elsewhere.

We moved to Edmond a couple of years ago and started looking for a vet that was closer to where we lived. It was difficult to change after going to our previous vet for 30 years. Sunset was recommended to us and we are very happy to have found Dr. Grimmett! She has helped both of our dogs have better lives in their senior years. She is very compassionate and always takes time to answer all our questions. The vet techs and all the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. We would highly recommend Sunset Vet!
