We prebooked a cab for my daughter to get to the Ferry from her hotel. Booking was easy through the app, notifications prior to arrival time and the driver was early. This was a Saturday at 730 am. Car was clean and driver was confident behind the wheel. We will use this service again in the future
Ordered a wheelchair taxi 4 days in advance to arrive today at the care home for 230p. We have been waiting for this medical appointment for over a month for my 85 year old father with a broken hip. At 235pm I called to ask where it was and was told it would be 4 more mins. Unfortunately it didn’t arrive until 3.02 which was too late for us to take the taxi at all. Please consider booking at least an hour before you might need one with this company. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional with zero notice.
Cabs were at the ferry right away. Unfortunately the driver's body odour was so bad, I had to hang my head out the window for the entire drive. I understand how hard the driver is likely working, and that some conditions can be medical, or religious. But please, if you want a bigger tip, consider how offensive odour can be. I would appreciate if management at AC Taxi could inform driver's about hygene.
