IzzieGot excited when I walked by and saw they had the colour of fabric I wanted which wasn’t available in a different shop. Asked for a metre but they only cut half a metre but charged me for a whole metre. The person serving me was literally on the phone and had folded all the fabric before I even had a chance to question it. Not very helpful. Had much better experiences in other nearby fabric shops.
Charlotte Tummillo (See it. Sew it. Sorted!)I went looking for a specific coloured fabric, but it was such a mess I couldn't even browse! Way too much stock, and fabrics are starting to look shabby. If it were a discount store then I'd understand more. Such a shame as we don't want to lose more fabric/haberdashery stores in the area. Maybe a little refurb and a clearance sale would be helpful.
ZebedeeWhat a fantastic fabric and beutiful embellishment store. Lovely couple have been running this shop for 45 years 😍🤩 respect. An absolute must on everyone's to do list. Pop in and buy something fabulous when visiting the lanes. 🤩 even if you cannot sew, there are sweet little iron on embroidered appliqué novelty patches. Ribbon to wrap gifts 🎁 or tie up hair. And the button drawers are so famous and fabulous. 🥳
Evie CrawshawHuge range of fabric. I made the stupid mistake of not asking how much the fabric per metre was so got overcharged. Always ask what the price per metre is! Apparently, 2 metres of cotton twill and a piece of denim, which was quoted near £22 came to £48.
