This was one of the best experiences at a hotel I've had in a long time. The place was absolutely spotless. The front desk people were amazing. The room could not have been nicer for a value priced hotel. When you walk in the lobby you know right away you're in a good spot. The place is super clean, there is no clutter and it even smells great. The manager/GM is Katie and she was working her tail off to make the place look great, greet everybody and make it a great experience. Well done Katie! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone that's in the area and looking for a value priced stay.

I recently stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Oelwein, IA. I had also stayed here several years ago, and I can say this visit was a noticeable improvement compared to my past experience. The bed this time was medium-to-firm, which I found much more comfortable than the overly firm mattress I encountered in the past. I appreciated that change and was able to rest well. The shower provided plenty of hot water, although the water pressure was weaker than expected. The bathroom, while clean, is quite small and feels a bit cramped, so it may not be the most convenient for guests who prefer more space. I stayed in a room with two double beds, which was functional and met my needs. Overall, while there are still areas that could be improved—particularly the bathroom size and shower pressure—the stay was more comfortable than my last visit. This shows progress, and I would consider returning in the future.

The front desk person was wonderful. I was a late night check in. She was there to check me in and had a great attitude. When I accidentally left my card at the desk, she called to let me know. The motel was one of the best Super 8s I have stayed at.

It is not handicap accessible. No elevator to second floor. Dead bugs on windowsill. Live spider in shower. Gross spots on bed cover and obvious it wasn’t washed. Would not recommend but it is the only hotel nearby that will except pets.
