Super 8 by Wyndham Williams

We recently stayed because we thought that the motel had been remodeled, but apparently we did not get one of those rooms. Very minimalist room with no chairs to sit in. We brought in an outside lawn chair and had a bag chair in our vehicle. No place to hang clothes so ended up using the shower rod. No blow dryers or glasses. The beds were okay but stubbed my toe on the iron bed frame a couple of times. Breakfast is advertised but not even a coffee pot is available. The best thing about the place was Amanda who tried to accommodate us but she is not a miracle worker. If you stay try to get one of the newer rooms.

I don't recommend this place unless you're a man with nothing to loose. That's too bad, because it is a nice little nostalgic motel. Room was cozy and pretty clean. Door frame to the room was broken making it difficult to securely latch it closed. Wife forgot a very expensive 3 piece wedge pillow in the room. When she called to check if it was still there she was told that it was probably thrown away by house keeping.

Website mentioned free breakfast but staff never offered it. Website also mentioned that hair dryers are available upon request and they had none. Rooms are very old and outdated, stains on walls, peeling paint, windows in bad condition, room smelled, couldn’t connect to WiFi, couldn’t turn the volume down on the tv, bedding was fine but the beds are very old as the box springs where yellow. The heating unit stopped producing heat and only blew cold air so it was freezing. Property staff didn’t seem to care and didn’t offer any other Accommodations, refunds or discounts. I definitely do not recommend.
