Asked them to come by and provide a quote for replacing and outdoor spigot which was leaking and not working properly. They were able to come quickly (hence the 2 stars), however, they quoted me $1250 to replace it as well as about 4ft of piping they said needed replacement. I appreciate skilled labor is expensive and am happy to pay for quality work, however, I asked around and several other plumbers quoted this job at ~$150. Contracted another plumber who had it done within an hour for $140. I found the plumbers from Superior to be nice but pushy and we're focused on trying to get me to sign off on the work immediately without providing the quote. I insisted on the quote, which was provided after the technician made a phone call. Maybe this was a one-off. If you hire them I'd be super careful and ensure you get a quote before agreeing to any work. Also, ask around to make sure it's not unreasonable. ##### -- UPDATE -- ##### Superior plumbing reached out based on this review and agreed to return the consultation fee of $168. I'm changing the review to be 3 stars because of this. The individual we spoke with was professional, apologized for our experience, and offered us a future discount on our next consultation fee.

We had an excellent experience with Superior Plumbing and Heating's hydrojet service, which completely cleared our pipes. Cedric, the plumber, was professional and thorough, and the results were amazing. We highly recommend this service.

Will offer to take the $175 "inspection fee" off the job price once you agree to the services but then quote you 4 times as much as another plumber once you're on the hook for the $175. I called these guys ( I already had the small leak exposed as I cut the drywall out for easy visibility) They quote me $850 for 1 shut off valve and after I complain they drop it to $650. I begrudgingly agree then they give me a 11-3 window. They don't show up or call after 5 hours and I cancel. I call another company and they are there within the hour to change a shutoff valve for $225 plus tax. The whole job took 20 mins and he was out the door in less than 30mins. Avoid these people as if they were plague they have predatory business practices where they like to quote 4 times as much as another company once they have you on the hook for the initial $175. They offered to refund my $360 minus the "$175 inspection fee" but they didn't even accomplish that after a week either. Update: I shouldn't have to "call to seek a resolution" After I called and was told I would be refunded within a week. Try actually running an honest business and not ripping people off!!!! I will make sure that everyone that I come in contact with that even mentions "water" will be told of you and your business practices
