Grossly overcharged. We called, they came quickly but in the stress of it they made my husband sign papers —without being able to comparison shop. For example, I needed a new sub pump, which, the most expensive one in Home Depot is $300.00. He did it in under 30 minutes. Usually you’d pay by the hour… usually $150/hr MAX. (Actually, I looked it up, plumbers make $43/hr in Ontario.) But this place, they overcharge with their one price offer. I wasn’t worried as I knew its a cheap, easy job from my brothers being tradesmen. Well, did we get taken advantage of! The one price is actually grossly overpriced, but the very fit and handsome Kevin uses his charm to convince you, while actually pressuring you on the spot. He is very manipulative. He never spoke to me about signing/cost even though I am the family money person. I heard him say, “I need you to sign,” to my husband “because otherwise people don’t pay us.” Now I understand why, because he really gouges you. He was at my house less than 30 minutes. My bill was $3,400 and he “took 400 off”. What a joke. My bill should not have been more than $500. Don’t fall for it like we did. Kevin also let it slip he makes 50% commission. We were charged through the roof because we have a nice, brick house. We aren’t rich, even if he thinks so by our homes appearance. I’ve been disabled and unable to work for over a decade, I’m mostly bed bound. My husband is a retired veteran, a pilot, with mental health issues, who served our countries Air Force and did 2 tours in Afghanistan. My mind works, I saw through it all, but too late. Then they called offering $50 refund off bill, for a 5 star review, emailing me to “Please leave a 5 star review.” Kevin told me he gets money for each review, and the customer gets refunded $50 for each review. This was a horrible experience, and I hope to save you from it. I’ve attached screenshots of the price of the most expensive pump at Home Depot and the cost of plumbers for the trades in Ontario.

I can't say enough about Brian and Superior Plumbing. Of course our sump pump decided to quit over night after the crazy weather April 2nd, 4:00am in the morning we were pumping water to stave off a basement flood. Called Superior Plumbing's 24/7 number and by 10:30am Brian arrived, inspected the situation made some suggestions and we were under repair. Not to mention Brian had to rush back to his warehouse and get the pump we wanted. Everything was installed and immaculately cleaned up by 3:00pm. Brian was extremely polite and knowledgeable, and made sure we were fully understanding of the new pump system we had installed, plus the office gave us a follow up call to ensure we were satisfied with the service we received. Outstanding! Superior Plumbing will be my first call from now on when it comes to any plumbing issues. Thank you so much, Tracy
