Hidden gem perfectly describes this place. Sushioki offers a fun twist on traditional sushi, serving it burrito-style, or as a bowl if that's more your vibe. While it’s not an over-the-top, flashy dining experience, the food speaks for itself: fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. It strikes a great balance, light yet filling, healthy without sacrificing taste. I sincerely enjoyed my meal here and will definitely be back for more.

If you love big sushi rolls, you have to try this place. The rolls are the size of burritos, and they don't skimp on flavor. While they're definitely a great value, just be prepared that drinks are a separate, additional cost.

Just had an incredible meal at Sushioki in Durham, NC, and wow, what a hidden gem! 🍣🌯 This place takes sushi to the next level with their sushi burritos, Poké bowls, and a mix of fresh, flavorful cooked options. Every bite was packed with bold, delicious flavor, and you can taste the quality. It’s like your favorite sushi roll went to the gym and came out in burrito form 💪🏼 What really stood out (besides the food) was the welcoming and helpful staff. Super friendly, genuinely cared, and made the experience even better. I love that it’s a locally owned spot, not some national chain. If you’re in Durham and want something fresh, fast, and totally unique, do yourself a favor and hit up Sushioki. Support local. Eat bold. I’ll be back 🔥

Had the first premade recommended bowl the salmon one. It was meh. Not much flavor. The guy taking our order had in an ear bud. Seriously is he not there to work and interact? Based on food and interaction we had I’d say skip. Not that great
