We live about 15 minutes away from their house. When we visited, the wife showed us three mattresses and asked about our budget. We told her $300, since that’s the amount our caseworker approved for each mattress. We chose the one we wanted which was the harder mattress, and she said that if we were buying more than one, the lowest price she could offer was $350 each. We said okay and told her we’d check with our caseworker to see if they could approve $350 per mattress for three queen sizes. Later, we confirmed that we could do $350 each, and they even said they do free delivery. However, when the husband delivered the mattresses, they weren’t the ones we had chosen. On top of that, he said the price was $500 each. He started yelling, swearing, and being extremely rude and aggressive, even during our phone call unprofessional. We kept trying to explain that his wife had agreed to $350 each, but he refused to listen and continued raising his voice. He even came back to our house demanding $50 payment for the delivery fee. When we originally visited their house, the husband wasn’t even there we only dealt with his wife yet he kept acting like he knew what was said. Overall, I’m very upset and disappointed about how unprofessional, rude, immature, and disrespectful the husband has been. This was our first time dealing with them, and it will definitely be our last.
