My neighbour recommended Paton Bros. when I was looking for a plumbing company to respond to a semi - urgent water issue in our home. Paton Bros. did not disappoint. Good response time and helpful advice over the phone from Randy and Jim. Brad came out to our house and did the heavy lifting. He’s an experienced and knowledgable plumber and he worked efficiently . He’s a nice guy too! I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Paton Bros. to other friends and family.

we were happy with the prompt response to our sink blockage. However, the plumber was only here 5 minutes, used a plunger and the sink cleared. my husband had done the same thing for a couple of weeks prior including drain opener so perhaps this contributed to the sink clearing so fast. We feel there should be a pro-rating of the hourly $150 per hour rate for only 5 minutes service. Also we are seniors so feel there should be a seniors rate pro-rated to a 5 minute job.

Paton Bros. took over a smaller company that will remain nameless that did work on a P trap hook up in my house a few months ago. Not long after said company did the work, maybe a few weeks, water started slowly leaking again. I tried to tighten myself, and hoped for the best. Some time went by and now the leak has progressed. When I called this company I was redirected to a woman who told me she would look into this and that they are Paton and took the company over. She called back the next day, and advised me they can fix, but it will cost me $150 for them to show up, plus any additional charges. It seems they are not willing to stand up to the work of the smaller company they acquired which is disappointing. I won’t be dealing with this company again and I wished it didn’t have to be this way.
