MullocVery bad day so far. Arrived at the ‘food place’ in the pouring down rain hoping for some nice fish and chips. Went to order the food and we ask for 2 fish and chips with mushed peas. They didn’t have peas. We said ok we’ll just have the fish. Then they say there’s only frozen fish so we say ok is it battered. They say yes. We then PAY for the food and they then say we only have 1 fish. We then ask for a refund. The refund never came. Now having a lovely fish and chips at the Esplanade Fish Bar, would recommend that not the pavilion! - Unhappy Customer
DalOnly had ice-creams from here. The rum and raisin in a waffle cone was an absolute treat. It's a little on the pricey side, but to be expected with the location I guess.
Sharon OneillDO NOT BUY the fish and chip from the Burnham-on-sea pavilion, Pier. At £8.95 it was the worst fish, I have ever eaten, from a so called fish and chip kiosk. It was comparable to the cheapest frozen fish sold in a supermarket, brands such as best-in, fiesta and happy shopper. And frozen chips! I was gutted I just wanted normal fish and chips. The clue should have been the very young assistants, scrambling around each other like McDonald’s staff in a busy period. Except it wasn’t busy! Please put a sign up. ‘This is not your average seaside fish and chips shop - buyer beware’ .
CJ BurkeyGreat food we used this place most the time during are stay and it was great no issues. Staff are really friendly and a good laugh. Recommend trying everything it's all good 💜. Ur given a food fob that goes off when food is ready soo u can play in arcades while u wait.
