My experience with Kiante, Juan and Chase has been nothing short of amazing. Each time I selected a property to view or reached out about a specific property of interest. They answered and delivered. I don't think they received enough acknowledgement for their hard work and diligence that they exude as Realty Agents. It is a thorough business and they NEVER fail. I have referred a few of my family members and friends to Nomadic, specifically to meet the 3 who I have mentioned and also to get the same eloquent experience that I have had. I truly cannot discourage renting from this company enough. Every single appliance in our home broke at some point—while they did replace two, the constant cycle of breakdowns and temporary fixes made basic living a challenge. It was a part time job trying to coordinate repairs. More critically, we dealt with serious issues with the heating system that made our home incredibly uncomfortable in the winter. Despite repeatedly raising concerns, Nomadic sent out contractors who dismissed the problem rather than actually fixing it. Trying to coordinate repairs became a part-time job, with us constantly managing contractors who came out but never truly resolved anything. After 15 months of back-and-forth conversations over the condition of our home (including violations of the DC housing code), we negotiated an early lease termination on the condition that they find a new tenant. However, Nomadic then canceled all the showings, completely undermining the agreement. We had to move out for our health and safety. The home was in a prime Capitol Hill location and they claimed that the "uncertain DC housing market" is why the place was listed for 3 months, despite having 90 contacts on Zillow. Their handling of the situation was deceptive at best, outright unethical at worst. To make matters worse, we found out shortly after we moved in that the previous tenants sued Nomadic for similar issues. That tells you everything you need to know. Yes, Nomadic will respond to your emails. But their version of property management is simply throwing contractors at issues without real solutions, leaving tenants to struggle. If you’re considering renting from them, don’t. You’ll regret it.

They have an excellent platform for payment, maintenance requests and leasing management. Also, my security deposit was returned quickly, with interest accrued. Nomadic has been my managing my rental for the past eight months and I have been so pleased with their professionalism and responsiveness. My maintenance requests are always seen to right away, and the teams they send in to make repairs are highly efficient, not to mention kind and punctual. All of my communications, which have been mostly with Samia and Sahmira, have been respectful and professional that is honestly at a level much higher than other rental managements that I’ve had in the past. It makes me feel that my unit is always in good hands and I never have to stress about any problems. I would highly recommend them to both tenants and landlords.
