Scott Irwin, who was our real estate agent at Team Fisher, is an absolutely phenomenal realtor and we were extremely happy to have worked with him when purchasing our first home! Having never purchased a home before, Scott did a great job of walking us through the process and was always able to answer any questions that we had and to keep our minds at ease while making the biggest purchase of our lives so far. He is very responsive and whenever we had questions or new listings we wanted to go look at he always replied promptly, so we always knew we were being taken care of and that he would be working on getting us showings to the houses we wanted to see. In the rare cases that he had other commitments and was unable to show us a house himself, he was able to make arrangements with other members of Team Fisher so that we didn’t miss out on seeing our potential perfect house. His team sets you up with an online portal that can automatically alert you when new properties matching your criteria are listed, and as he got a better sense of what we were looking for, he was able to suggest new houses that seemed like they could be a good fit for us without us having to do all of the leg work ourselves - and in some cases before they were even listed. We were very active at looking at listings ourselves, but he will take care of you and make sure you don’t miss one that fits what you’re looking for if you get busy or are unable to look yourself. While viewing houses, it always felt like Scott had our best interests at heart. He was good at pointing out potential problems with houses in terms of structure, maintenance, and property value. He was even sure to mention when houses lacked some of the features he knew we were looking for, which helped keep us on track to find a house that had everything we were wanted - even if that meant we would be less likely to put in an offer. Scott is extremely patient and was always happy to arrange showings even when we ended up asking to see places that we probably should have been able to tell from the listings weren’t a great fit. We never once felt pressured to make an offer and when we did find the perfect house for us he was able to give us great advice on how to make sure we got the house for a reasonable price. Thanks to his knowledge of the market and clever negotiating tactics, we were actually able to get our dream house for under asking, despite a very competitive housing market. In addition to his great knowledge and service, Scott is extremely personable and honestly felt like a friend to us by the end of our home buying journey. We really can’t recommend him and Team Fisher enough! Thank you Scott!
