We have used Hawx’s for general pest control for several years. We have been satisfied with their care. The “bonus” came when I brought bed bugs back from Savannah after a trip. We have never experienced those pests. What a pain in the butt they have been!! An inspector came out and confirmed that is what they were. A day or so later a bed bug technician, Benjamin, came out to begin treating them. Thankfully those pests were confined to two bedrooms, but it was a BAD CASE in one bedroom. We were charged one fee - which included the repeat visits. Benjamin was EXTREMELY CAREFUL & Thorough each time he came to treat the room. He checked surrounding areas. He returned at least six times and FINALLY those suckers are GONE. He is also very responsive to the customers needs and was respectful of our home. He liked our dogs and they liked him. We would highly recommend Hawx Pest Control - but do what you can to avoid bed bugs!! Debra Mason and Phyllis Jones 12/31/25 & 1/7/26 JohnHenry came to treat again. He discovered a few spots where they were hiding. We deeply appreciate his diligence finding these pests!!

Their service is very good. Ashton did a great job, I asked him to treat for fruit flies he addressed and sprayed in the drain. Overall Hawx never disappointed us so far.

The technician at Hawk are always so professional and knowledgeable. My technician John Henry today was also knowledgeable and professional but he was also caring about the customer. I fell and broke my ankle and foot 3 weeks ago and I was in a boot and an wheel chair. He could tell I was distressed and miserable and depressed but he had God in his life and me too. After finishing his work and explaining what he did at my home he ask he could pray for me and for complete healing. I was so happy to have him pray for me because I truly needed this prayer this morning and it truly lifted me . He reminded I was not in this situation God was in it with me that God would never leave me alone. Praise God! John Henry was the. Angel he sent to take great care of my home and lift my soul up. Here’s how it went down: A young salesman knocked on my door, acting friendly and “desperate for a sale,” which should’ve been my first red flag. We had a fly problem in the backyard, so I listened — but I told him clearly I couldn’t afford anything. Instead of taking no for an answer, he pushed. Hard. So hard he literally CashApped me $50 of his own money just to get me to sign up for what he described as a simple “ongoing subscription,” “just for the summer months,” and nowhere near $84 per treatment. Not once — not ONCE — did he disclose that: I was signing a 12-month contract With a required minimum of 5 visits At $84.13 per visit Plus tax Plus fees Plus “early termination penalties” Plus automatic renewals Plus aggressive billing practices If he HAD been honest, I would’ve shut the door immediately. But surprise: everything he “forgot” to mention was buried in the fine print of a digital contract rushed through at almost midnight — literally 11:39 PM — which they apparently think is a normal time to legally bind people. And once that contract is signed? You’re not a customer. You’re a target. Within weeks, Hawx hit me with: Multiple phone calls Multiple emails Billing threats And even attempts to pull money straight from my CashApp, all while I had my card LOCKED Imagine a company so desperate for money they repeatedly try charging a locked card like they’re hoping you blink. The real kicker? When I called in, suddenly I “owed over $200” — for TWO yard sprays — and the rep told me the other fees were “future charges” and “cancellation costs.” Two sprays at $86 each for a backyard misting that took the tech maybe ten minutes. That’s not pest control. That’s predatory revenue extraction in a polo shirt. Let me be extremely clear: Hawx may be a “legitimate” business on paper, but their sales tactics are absolutely scam-adjacent, deceptive, and designed to lock people into contracts they were NEVER clearly told about — especially vulnerable or financially stressed homeowners. If this company shows up at your door: Close it. Lock it. Shut your blinds. Release the hounds. Do anything except sign.
