Terra Forma Landscaping

I have quite a few established trees, shrubs and other permanent design elements(gravel patio with fire pit, a “she-shed”), but wanted to fit in a fenced vegetable garden and possibly a pool. Needless to say, the space is not a blank canvas, but Matt came over and started the conversation about how to seamlessly add significant elements all while maintaining balance and keeping much of the work that has already been done. Clearly a talented designer, but equally impressive is the way he communicates and helps narrow my focus and make decisions based on priorities. Too many designers are talented with the design but lack the ability to help clients edit, and he did it in such an effortless easy way.

I had not initially considered the need for a landscape designer; however, after finding Water and Earth Landscape Design on Houzz and viewing the portfolio, I knew Matt was the right person to help design an incredible, inviting backyard space. Matt created a beautiful and comprehensive plan, including deck, patio, pool, spa, and landscaping. He then helped with obtaining quotes, deciding on contractors, and did initial leg work to ensure that the county approval process would go smoothly. Though we have yet to break ground, I know he will be involved until the project is complete to ensure the end result meets expectations. I cannot wait to see and enjoy the space!
