Texas Coffee Works is so well-worth visiting! Do yourself a favor, take a drive to the beautiful Bastrop area and make Texas first Works your first stop. Come hungry, too, because once you step inside, you’ll want to try EVERYTHING, from sandwiches to delectable baked goods. You cannot go wrong with any of the coffee menu creations, too. Now, just know that every single thing is made in-house from scratch. Oh, and do t leave without bringing home one or a couple of their freshly roasted signature coffee blends. If you come on a weekend, there will be live music, too. Texas Coffee Works simply offers one of the best experiences to coffee lovers in the Austin area. Plus, the stuff is incredibly friendly. Oh, and did I mention that they are quite famous? Even peeps in NY know them!

One of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to! The croissant was so delicious and fresh and flaky, it tasted like it just came out of the oven, the chicken salad was super healthy and hearty, and the watermelon cup was so fresh and delicious. Please stop here if you’re ever on the way from Austin to Houston! Such a gem and such a treat! My one year-old dropped all of the watermelon and they gave him a whole new cup of watermelon for free! Such a gem.

Drove here a long with 2 friends on route to Houston for brunch. Caprese - fresh, flavorful and rich in ingredients. Pesto is extremely creamy and will definitely satisfy the belly. Turkey - generous portions of turkey meat. The turkey was succulent and the flavor blended well with the rest of the ingredients. The multiple flavors did not overpower the overall taste of the sandwich. Coffee was also on point. We love visiting local coffee shops and not the run of the mill Starbucks. Definitely recommend.

This was a pleasant surprise on my way back to Houston from the wine country! This place did not disappoint. I got a lavender mocha with an add shot, plus a gluten free banana bread. They were so friendly and welcoming! I told him I really don’t like overly sweet coffee and they were able to make it perfectly just from my description. The gluten free banana bread was also very moist and not dry or chalky at all (sometimes it is). Definitely homemade. The shop is also very spacious with great spots for working or studying. I’ll definitely stop again when I’m driving through.

Texas Coffee Works is a coffee shop.
