All good! The drive up room is fantastic! Easy to get everything in the room after a long drive. The room was clean and quiet. We have stayed there before and we will more than likely be back. We drove from southern Ontario for about 12 hours. It was an easy check in and helpful staff. A clean and safe room with easy parking is appreciated after a long journey. A good breakfast to get you going in the morning is also appreciated.
The room was large and clean. Front desk staff were excellent and friendly. Check in was smooth and efficient. Room was quite permitted for a good night sleep. ||Breakfast selection was great with many options. Despite many food allergies, non gluten and non dairy options like potatoes and beans were available. Fresh fruits. Very impressive. ||Definitely recommend this location.
Older hotel but very nice and clean. Rooms were excellent and the bed was comfortable! Our bathroom was newer and clean. The exterior looks beautiful and when you come inside, it’s new but with the older stay look, I love it!. Breakfast was good but not the eggs. The price is amazing and I would stay here again!
Overall, an okay experience for a two star hotel. It was clean looking and I couldn’t hear my side neighbours. The AC was noisy (I feel like all hotels of a certain era and star rating are?). Downside was our neighbour above us was working out or something at 2:30am for an hour. Weirdest thing ever. Maybe ask for the top floor if you’re booking. I eventually fell asleep and had only dreamt I complained to the staff. Breakfast was fine and full. Pancakes, sausages, eggs (those scrambled industrial eggs), yogurt, apples/bananas, breads/bagels… not amazingly delicious but typical and filling. The beds were fine — firm coiled mattresses with decent pillows and sheets. Their location was great — it was so close to the highway but surprisingly quiet — a good stopover hotel. Bonus: they have a nice view of the sunset and valley. Regarding the price: I wouldn’t have enjoyed paying full price (>220$+tx or so). Luckily, I found it on a discount site two weeks prior to our arrival (165$ with taxes Summer 2025) — I think for Edmundston, due to its location, you either have to book really early or happen to come across a last minute discount.
The Algonquin Resort St. Andrews by-the-Sea, Autograph Collection is a hotel.
