Customer experiences
Finally decided to check out this place due to the amazing recommendations from so many. Will agree that the place is beautiful, uniquely decorated (check out the cool restrooms) and service was impeccable. The Bauer burger we’d heard so much about was…just okay. Understand that the burger buns are now made fresh in house, but the burger we had was a little too overdone, a little dry and was bland. I just expected more. The upgraded Bauer house salad was good, and much better than the small portion of fries my companions had. Pizza looked good but had minimal ingredients; was told it was okay. Will try something different from their menu next time.
✨ A fantastic dining experience at The Bauer Kitchen in Waterloo! From start to finish, everything was spot on. 🥩 The beef tartare was beautifully prepared—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly paired with grilled bread and mustard seed for that extra kick. 🍳 The huevos rancheros-style dish was a highlight, stacked with tender pulled chicken, crispy tortillas, beans, and topped with a perfectly runny egg. Comfort food with a gourmet twist! ☕ Even the little touches, like the branded coffee cup covers, made the experience feel thoughtful and unique. A spot that nails both presentation and flavor. Definitely one of Waterloo’s gems. Highly recommend for brunch, lunch, or dinner.
Amazing birthday brunch! My dad took me for a nice birthday Brunch today. I had the steak and eggs, my dad had the salmon Benedict. This meal was nothing short of perfect! The Espresso Martinis were *chefs kiss*. Highly recommend The Bauer Kitchen for your next meal! Beautiful patio, beautiful interior and wonderful serving staff & Hostess! Jessica is fabulous!! Ps. Your Kitchen Staff deserve some love cause they absolutely killed it and provided a delicious meal!
We recently went to the Bauer Kitchen for dinner and it was our first time there and won’t be our last! For drinks - I had the blood orange spritz and it was refreshing. All the food we had was really good. The spinach dip came with flatbread and chips to dip and was great for sharing. The almond crusted salmon had gnocchi surrounding it on top of a sweet corn sauce which was something I never tried before and was really good paired with the salmon. The beef tenderloin was cooked to medium and was soft and tender. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious - the cake was fluffy with toffee sauce and vanilla bean ice cream which really balanced everything out.
The Bauer Kitchen is a restaurant.
