Hands down, this is the best aftercare and camp experience my daughter has ever had. She’s not only learned so much, but she’s been surrounded by genuine love and encouragement every step of the way. Her confidence has blossomed where she’s even played leading roles in multiple plays throughout the school year, something I never imagined she’d have the courage to do. Every day when I pick her up, she’s excited to share something new she’s learned, and it warms my heart to see her growing in such a joyful environment. What means even more is that the staff truly go above and beyond by showing up to support her at events outside of their program, which makes us feel like family. And if you ever need anything, you can call them anytime—they are more than willing to listen, help, and work with you to support your child. Most evenings, she doesn’t even want to leave because she’s having so much fun. They make learning feel like an adventure, and I couldn’t ask for a more loving, supportive place for my child. My daughter started attending The B.E.E. Academy the summer before first grade, and it was truly the best decision we could have made! The program not only promotes learning in fun and engaging ways, but it also ensures students retain knowledge while developing positive social skills. The space is safe, culturally relevant, and thoughtfully designed, and the attention to detail is immaculate. The Afterschool Program is amazing—students receive homework help, tutoring, and opportunities to participate in plays, dance recitals, and even award ceremonies that celebrate their achievements. The Summer Enrichment Camp is equally impressive, offering weekly field trips and outdoor activities that all tie back to academics. The program director, Shakir (a.k.a. Queen Bee), is extremely knowledgeable and always communicative. The coaches are warm, welcoming, and treat every child with genuine kindness. My daughter attends both the Summer Enrichment Camp and the Afterschool Program, and I have complete peace of mind knowing she’s not only well cared for while we work but also thriving in an environment that challenges and supports her.
