I had 3 rooms and cabinets done by Ceasar and crew. I’m so happy with everything they did. Price was phenomenal and work excellent. Any discrepancies were quickly resolved. I had no qualms about having Ceasar his wife son and 2 other painters in my house. Definitely recommend these folks 1 before. And 2 after photos.

Seemed like a pretty decent guy and I wanted to hire a family ran small business. Took me forever to nail him down a time to come out for a quote. Not very responsive. Was pretty sure he didn't want the job. Then I couldn't get him started for some time. Pretty easy to work with, but keeps things a bit vague for his benefit. The quote does not list any details for a reason. Like I could have sworn he said he'd use super paint, but he says he said the lower end. Oh well. His kids were all nice guys and worked hard. Said he had a wall stucco guy, but then he had no stucco guy, so I agreed and said let's see what you can do. He did a pretty good sample section, but when got okay to do the rest, he did it differently and used a different (probably cheaper) product. It turned out pretty terrible, but could have easily made it better by knocking it down with a trowel after application. But he didn't and painted over it. No way to fix it now. I only got one coat of paint and other bids for the job quoted 2 coats. Again, nothing stated on his quote to clear this up. As the thrust of the painting was under way, I got called away to see my mother as she was in bad shape and underwent emergency surgery, which I informed him about. 2 days later he demanded payment or "he would put a lien on my home". He cannot do that, but I got the message. That being that he was a jerk. I courteously sent payment, although he wasn't even done with the project. It was not time for final payment. Before I had left I had shown him deficiencies in work that he was still taking care of as well. We were to do a final walk through for touch-up items when I returned. When I got back I sent him a list of items, most of which he should have taken care of before leaving the work site. I attempted to set a time for him by text, phone, and email, but he obviously just figured it was worth losing the remaining $500 payment, to walk away into the night. I have seen other reviews complaining of their lack of finishing the job and clean up. The outstanding items: Trim paint accidentally on wall paint Trim painted wall color by mistake Stem wall areas missed painting Clean up around the site... debris, tape, old stucco and paint chips, new paint splashes and drips etc. (I've cleaned up a lot of it) Patch wood under eve (did not repair badly damaged wood before painting over it! Who does that?) Paint chipping under eves (did not properly remove old chipping paint with scraper) Paint overspray cleanup (big paint drips and overspray on concrete, landscape rocks, garden hose, BBQ island top, all sorts of things) Poor Front door and security screen door finish Overspray on my ring door camera device Overspray on windows Overspray and drip on BBQ island fixtures not masked well Scratched new front door handle while sanding instead of removing while prepping Relocate the landscaping rocks back to wall / stem wall (push back into place) Stucco work on wall is poor. Paint on window frames- not much Cleaned his equipment in my landscaping rocks In hind sight, I should have used the corporate big guy that had a written contract, a descriptive detailed list of deliverables, and a guarantee, for the about same price. I will next time though. Update to Chandler 480 Painting response: Everything is true and well documented. You can't argue with the pictures posted. Your response fails to take responsibility. This is a pattern as you can see by other reviews. Now to threaten me for slander? I'm obviously not worried and you're obviously not going to do anything. Which was the problem in the first place. You would not finish the job, questionable work ethics, (you said super paint, saying you would seal the stem wall correctly, and that you would do all wall stucco just like the example you showed me), and your professionalism sub-par. Ex: Painting over rotten wood. Why didn't you fix it like you said you would? etc... If I were you, I'd try to fix it, or just take the lump you deserve, so I don't sue you or take you to the ROC and make you do it.
