I recently visited Pubwells on Sussex and had such a pleasant experience. The highlight for me was their great outdoor patio area—perfect for enjoying a drink and some good food. The food did not disappoint either: the onion rings were crispy and flavorful, and the chicken wings were excellent, cooked just right and full of taste. Combined with the friendly service, it made for a really enjoyable outing. Definitely I recommend this place for a low-key Sunday’s evening or have a a glass of wine and also chicken wings.

Pub food. Plenty of draught beer options. Good burger. Very nice atmosphere. Josh was an attentive server. Close to the National Gallery and many sights. I don’t like it when I am asked if I want the bill. Makes me feel like they want time to leave. Otherwise, an excellent watering hole.

We had a lovely evening at Pubwells. Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious, came in good time and the restaurant was lovely and happy vibes. Cozy environment.

Went on a wing night, the prices were very fair and the wings were meaty and tasty. We got the 2 pounds of hot wings, the devil fries and a pitcher of sangria. Our server Matthew was amazing, super kind and very attentive. I would definitely come back to this location, we had a great time!
