Alexia VOverall brilliant. The staff were very friendly and quick , many thanks. Atmosphere was great Food was 7/10 with impressive scotch eggs to die for and the appetizers with prosciutto and salad and dip was amazing ! Don't miss them. My cheese board was not amazing though ,nice chutney but tiny cut cheese and not a great selection either. Please this needs changing but apart from that I believe it is a place with great beer variety and a cool environment to hang out.
Katy FengA lovely Belgian pub! I didn't realise this place existed until I looked at Google maps. I tried the Duchesse de Bourgogne, a red ale Belgian beer. It was really nice, kind of like if a red wine was a beer. I'd fully recommend it! The staff were lovely, one of the guys recommended the Augustiner as his go-to which was also really good. I appreciate the way that they serve each beer in their specific unique glasses (very Belgian). I really liked the Duchesse wine glass and its engraving at the hilt. I'd love to come back to try the food! The atmosphere was vibrant but not too loud, good for a catch up with friends. I loved the William Morris inspired wallpaper and chalkboards. Very reasonably priced for imported beer in central Bristol too, and independently run by some lovely staff! It's clearly someone's passion project and the care with the choice of alcohols and decoration shows it.
