We had the most amazing dinner at The Butcher’s Daughter last night! 🍷 Their wine flights were such a fun and delicious way to try a variety of pours—each one was perfectly paired and absolutely delightful. The food was just as incredible—every bite felt so fresh and flavorful. The pasta was rich and comforting, the pizza was perfectly crisp and loaded with flavor, but the star of the night for me was the gnocchi. Hands down the best I’ve had—it just melted in my mouth! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, the service was spot on, and everything about the experience made it such a memorable evening. Already counting down the days until our next visit!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food and service here are excellent. The red onion tart was absolutely amazing—full of flavor and beautifully presented. The spicy watermelon margaritas were another standout—refreshing with just the right kick, and the bartender is top notch. What’s also great is their bakery: after 8 PM, all remaining baked goods are just $1! The coffee cake and muffins are fluffy, fresh, and really tasty. I’ve also vouch wonderful things about their pizzas—crispy, light, and loaded with fresh toppings. Overall, this place is a real gem in Venice for a laid-back vibe, delicious food, and great drinks. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice vegetarian restauraunt. They offer a variety of options which is nice, but as someone who isn’t vegetarian, the flavors were a little bit weak/off to me. The Greek Style Eggs were pretty good, but the burnt flavor from the charred sourdough was a bit overpowering. I liked the addition of avocado on the side, but I think more feta would’ve enhanced taste. My family also commented that the Surfers’ Burrito and Impossible Burger both tasted okay, but that they were both a little flavorless. The Pure Passion juice was delicious and refreshing though, especially if you like sourness! Other than that, service was good, and the atmosphere was probably the highlight of this restaurant. Really nice to sit in the outside area, much quieter than inside. Overall, I think this is a good option for vegetarians but if you aren’t used to vegetarian meals, it may not suit your taste. I will mention, we didn’t get to try the salad or pizza but both looked very yummy too.

The Butcher’s Daughter – Stylish, Satisfying, and Full of Flavor The Butcher’s Daughter on Abbot Kinney delivers on every front—delicious food, warm service, and a beautifully curated atmosphere. The space has a cool, airy vibe that feels equal parts trendy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. I ordered the gluten-free vegan waffles with maple syrup and added a side of bacon—the combination was absolutely perfect. The waffles were crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of flavor. The bacon added that savory contrast I was desiring. The staff were friendly, attentive, and created a genuinely pleasant dining experience. Whether you’re plant-based, gluten-free, or just looking for a great bite in Venice, The Butcher’s Daughter is a must-visit spot with great vibes and even better food.
