Deepak SThis is a lovely little restaurant in the city centre. It has a great ambience and the staff are always friendly and helpful. However, the food is sensational! I've taken many of their dishes and they've all been superb! My daughter loves the butter chicken, so this deserves a special mention. Finally, thank you to Ishita for looking after us so well on our last visit.

We got the sharing platter for two and it’s worth the money, it’s really high quality, and there’s some left over for lunch too. Their new location has lots of seating. Overall, if I was choosing between Mowgli (still very good) and Viva while in lace market, I would definitely go for Viva Indian tapas.
Charlotte MilburnWe ate here recently on a Saturday night. We were chatting to the girl that was serving us and she was telling us it was her first day. She was lovely and so helpful. But the way she was treated by other staff was not good. This made it really awkward as a lot of the staff conversations were had next to our table. We felt very awkward. That aside, the food was really good and we really enjoyed it. There was a service charge put on the bill and this did not state if it was optional. Due to the awkwardness, we wanted to take rbis off but felt we couldn’t ask.
Mr CarterI don't say this often but that was by far the best meal I have ever had! Quirky little restaurant with more seating upstairs and a tiny little kitchen. The meal came out in separate dishes and it all looks beautiful and tasted incredible. The spice was just right but the flavours were stunning. Me and my friend were just silent as we both agreed it was that good! Wait times were short and staff were lovely! I'm gobsmacked how some reviews are lower than a 5 star. I will be making a 100 mile round trip just to come back here. Thank you
